Andrew and Maree Robertson opened the doors to Robertsons Pharmacy on High Street in Hawera in 2004.
Soon after, the neighbouring Bob Thomas Pharmacy in Hawera was purchased and consolidated into the Robertsons Pharmacy High Street business and in 2006, the retail floor area was doubled with an extension into the neighbouring shop. In the early part of 2012 Amcal Pharmacy in Hawera was purchased and relocated to the Ngati Ruanui Medical Practice and is now known as Robertsons Pharmacy Hunter Street. In November 2018 Strandon Pharmacy located at the Eastside Medical Centre in New Plymouth was added to the group.
